Growing up in the heart of Karnataka, a hot cup of freshly prepared Ragi Malt was a daily ritual in every household. It was the secret behind the relentless stamina of our farmers and the vibrant growth of kids. Traditionally, mothers and grandmothers would wash, soak, sprout, solar-dry, slow-roast, and hand-mill the grains to lock in maximum nutrition and rich earthy aroma.
Realizing that today's fast-paced lifestyles leave very little time for such comprehensive processes, we founded Namma Kutumba. We wanted to bridge this gap by preparing ragi malt using the exact same traditional steps, preserving the homestyle flavor and high nutritional profile.
Today, we source premium local grains, sprout them meticulously under hygienic supervision, and slow-roast them in small batches. This ensures that every pack we send out smells of home, tastes of tradition, and works wonders for your family's overall well-being.
